Our ultimate goal is to strengthen the bond between Bear and our carriers. We want our carriers to know we strive to develop and maintain strong, professional, and lasting relationships, which stimulate trust and loyalty in return from our carriers. The Preferred Carrier Program is designed to strengthen alliances with carriers dedicated to haul regular lanes for Bear Transportation Services on a regular basis. Preferred carriers will receive:
- 5-Day Fast Pay: Checks are cut within 5 days of receipt of clean paperwork. All paperwork must be present.
- Advance Access to Freight: 15-minute preview on our website before loads are released to the general public.
- Better Equipment Planning: You will be able to better plan the use of your equipment with regular lanes. Have a lane that you need to develop a backhaul for? Call a Bear Logistics Account Manager to discuss your needs.
- Post Your Equipment: When you are logged in as a Preferred Carrier, you can live update your equipment directly in the Bear database.
- Rapid Resolution for Billing Discrepancies: Invoice disputes are settled via phone/fax instead of being returned to the carrier in the mail.
To qualify for the preferred carrier program, you must haul consistent business for Bear throughout the year. Once you have hauled 50 loads for Bear within the year you may request preferred status. To maintain your preferred status, you must haul a minimum of 125 loads per year and provide excellent service to our customers through courteous interaction and on-time pick-up and delivery.
